Had a great experience with this location. Truth be told, the operations are handled out of a hard to find old trailer hidden in a bus park & ride parking lot. The gentleman who assisted me was friendly and courteous. The vehicle was not as clean as I typically receive my car from other Avis/ Budget locations but it was nothing I couldn't live with.
We reserved a SUV for a very important weekend tickets to a show for8 people than a suprise diner went to pick up SUV and it wasn't there they wouldn't have it the owner Ed wouldn't do anything to help us at all we missed the threaten and dinner ....we will now have to file legal action can't believe that HORRIBLE DONT RENT FROM BUDGET YOU WILL BE STRANDED
This place is a joke. Not only was it the dirtiest car I have ever rented from this company I was then charged for smoking in the vehicle when I do not even smoke. In a rush I accepted the managers guarantee I would not be charged for large backseat and passenger seat stains. I said fine since I had to go to a dinner meeting. When I returned the vehicle in the early AM through the drop box, they do not have 24 hour service in their trailer, I was then charged $250 additional on my card for so called smoke damage. They even put ashes all over the dash board, passenger seat, passenger floor, driver side floor, and used photos as evidence. While this is a he said she said situation, because I was not their when they inspected, and they were not there when I dropped off, they purely found an opportunity to cover their butts by extorting me for my money. Don't ever rent from here but if you decide to anyway get everything in writing and do not drop your car off after hours because I am sure you will get taken advantage of also. Also note this is not a corporate store. This means if they charge you Budget/Avis has zero authority to credit you back the cost. It is a pure win win for the independent location. They can say whatever they want and you are stuck frustrated and out whatever they decide to charge you. So good luck if you roll the dice and I can guarantee I will never rent from either one of these companies for business again and suggest at minimum you stay away from this location.
Stay away from this place. Worst experience ever. The guy was literally swearing for not writing the return mileage on the drop off card. When I asked him to just explain the charges that I didn't understand on the bill, he wouldn't talk and asked me to call customer service. Am never renting a car from AVIS/Budget.
We rented a car on a Friday to bring my daughter home from college, with a return on Saturday. The gentleman behind the desk assured us that upon the return on Saturday, to just drop the keys in a drop box and all the security cameras would record when I returned the car. We gassed the car up on Saturday about 3 miles from the rental place and returned the car around noon on Saturday, 3 hours before the 24 hour cutoff. Weeks later, I received a charge on my credit card for three days. I called the gentleman back at the rental place and he explained that although he put the car in as a Saturday return, the new policy at Budget corporate stated that if you return the car on a weekend when no one is there, you get charged three days. This is obviously a lie, because if the gentleman actually put it in as a return in on Saturday, how would Budget know any difference? Also, what about the cameras that recorded my return? This guy is a cheat. I am now in dispute with Budget. Although the gentleman came off as very friendly when we rented, he obviously has other motives. I will never rent from this guy again, nor do I recommend anyone else to rent from him. If I could put zero stars, I would.
