I am disappointed. I was in the hospital the past 3 days and called to explain my situation to the office and asked for my practitioner to call me back. No call back. I'll be finding another place
The staff, for the most part, are very friendly. However, the only time I've ever been seen on time was when my appointments were at 9am- the first appointments of the day. I've waited for over an hour at times. My biggest concern with this office was their emergency response system-- on two separate occasions while I was pregnant I had an emergency and no one called me back. I had to wait until their office was open again to speak with the receptionist who then had me wait until a doctor was in to call me back. It's absurd. Also, their communication of your information is terrible- I'd see one doctor, then go back for a follow up visit and the new doctor would have no idea what I had been in the first time for. And each doctor would tell me something different. The only reason I gave this place two stars instead of one is because I really liked Dr. Amy Gerhardt and the woman who does her corresponding via telephone. I would go back if I knew I would only have to see those two people every time.
I was in and out in a half hour. Dr. Ammirata and staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. One of the best visits any place ive gone. No complaints.
Every time you call this place, it is a different story. The offices never communicate with each other. The people responsible for returning your call on the OB line seldom seem to return your call. The doctors seem OK, but if you see a different doctor from one visit to the next, they tell you different things.
As an RN with over 38 yrs experience in Womens and Childrens health, I give this practice 5 stars! All the physicians, nurses and staff are topnotch professional and caring. I have sent many friends and family and everyone has been extremely pleased. For those who wrote negative comments about this practice, perhaps stick with a solo practitioner as that is the way things work with a large practice.
