The theater was okay. Not very large. The seats weren't terribly comfortable. There is no parking. Had to park with meter on the street. Had to set a timer to make sure we didn't get a ticket! However, the staff were nice & allowed us to break singles to get quarters for the meters. We went to see the first show of the day. It was clear that no one came in to turn on the heat before the showing. I had to wear my coat as it was so cold. Not going to be my go to theater. Would only go back if there was something specific that only they were showing.
The screens aren’t the largest and the facility has its worn spots but it has a great “neighborhood theater” feeling that’s otherwise long gone in this day and age of the megaplexes
The movie theater is pretty good, although the theaters don't really feel wide enough. If you end up further in the back, you might as well be holding an iPad up to your face with your arms extended it. Otherwise, the seating is comfortable and the sound is great!
A Perfect Hometown Theatre! Helpful staff, nice theatre and convenient to all of the great shops and restaurants in Ridgewood.
Good: comfy seats, no crowds. Bad: poor speakers for Dolby sound, terrible projection-very poor color reproduction, muddy picture, too much ambient light in theater. And this was for Star Wars Last Jedi
